Ordering your wedding invitations and stationery can be stressful - there is a lot to think about!

It is normal to be unsure about the process, or have doubts.

Below, we have provided answers to a lot of the common questions our customers have - we hope it helps!

Placing an order with InvitationWorks is simple! You can browse our website to view our product range and prices. Once you've decided what you would like to buy, just add the items to your basket and checkout with a credit/debit card or your paypal account.

Once you've placed your order we will be in touch for your wedding details and chosen wording. Our graphic designers will then create a proof of your designs and email them to you for you to review.

Once you're happy with the proof, your order will be sent to print and posted to you.

We totally understand that nothing can beat holding an invitation in your hand to view first hand the quality of print and materials.

With this in mind, we let you choose any three items from our website as a sample and you only pay for postage.

Simply add any three items to your basket to automatically apply the discount and checkout.

We aim to turn all orders around as soon as possible. All of our items are printed and posted from the UK.

Our order process is as follows:

  1. Order is placed on our website.
  2. Receive invitation wording via email/online form.
  3. Create a proof with the wording for all items and email for approval.
  4. Make changes as needed until the proof is approved.
  5. Order is sent to print and dispatched via Royal Mail/Courier.

Our turnaround time therefore partly depends upon how quickly the wording is received and the proofs are approved.

As a guide, we usually provide proofs within 1 working day, and once proofs are approved items are printed and dispatched in 2 - 5 working days.

If you are in a rush to receive your order please let us know and we can do our best to turn things around quickly.

Yes! Unlike other companies, when you place an order with us a graphic designer will personalise your order by hand.

Other companies give you the option to edit your order yourself online, but we have found every wedding is so unique nothing can beat a dedicated professional tweaking things.

This also gives you a lot more flexibility - we can tweak things if needed so you get exactly what you are looking for.

Yes! Our website gives a lot of colour options, but we understand that you may want different colour combinations to match your colour scheme.

As each order is personalised by one of our graphic designers, it is no problem to adjust the colours to suit your requirements.

To give the best possible results we only use the highest quality materials, all sourced from UK suppliers.

Our invitations are all available on a choice of thick white or cream 300gsm linen card.

We offer a choice of cream, white or kraft envelopes all in the 120gsm - 140gsm range giving a quality feel and a reassuring thickness.

All of our items are printed professionally in house by ourselves.

Our printing setup is tailored to give the best possible results on the cardstock/materials we use.

We use pigment inks of the highest quality to prevent fading/smearing and give a bright, vibrant finish sure to impress your guests.

We have worked hard to make the images of our products as accurate as possible.

Due to the various different screen setups and settings, in some cases there can be a variation in the colours you see on your screen and the colour of the finished product.

We would always recommend ordering a sample before placing a large order to avoid disappointment.

We try to offer the best possible prices on all of our items, but also offer discount codes from time to time.

We are based in the UK and all orders are dispatched from the UK.

Our website is unfortunately not currently setup for international orders. However, if you would like to place an order and are based outside the UK please contact us and we can let you know your options for shipping.

Please note that international orders may be subject to additional import/customs fees/duties on arrival to your country.
